Employer of the year: Employers’ Federation promotes training

The Employers’ Federation of Pakistan granted awards to a number of Pakistani enterprises for their contribution towards development of skilled workforce under its First Employer of the Year Award 2012. The awards distribution ceremony, held on Thursday, was organised by the EFP in collaboration with technical and vocational education and training (TVET) Reform Support Programme. Arif Elahi, Sindh industries secretary, appreciated the initiative taken by EFP, saying that the Employer of the Year Award 2012 will play a catalytic role in promoting technical and vocational education and training in Pakistan.
