Development: Rs45 million projects approved in Bahawalpur

Complaints against various departments and officials were also reviewed at the meeting.

BAHAWALPUR: The district administration on Friday approved 17 development projects.

Rs45 million was allocated for the projects at the meeting held at Bahawalpur DCO’s office.

DCO Imran Sikandar Baloch and DPO Sohail Habib Tajik were also present at the meeting.

Development schemes across the district were reviewed in the meeting.

The projects were approved according to a district development package.

In PP-268, four schemes were approved at a cost of Rs10 million; four schemes at a cost of Rs10 million in PP-268; four schemes with a budget of Rs10 million in PP-272; one scheme at cost of Rs5 million in PP-274 and in PP-275, four schemes at cost of Rs10 million rupees were approved.

Participants of the meeting also agreed to complete pending projects. They agreed to monitor Sultej River’s flood situation before approving any projects in the area.

Complaints against various departments and officials were also reviewed at the meeting.
