Murder most foul: Mentally upset man kills mother

RAWALPINDI: A disturbed man killed his 82-year-old mother by hanging her with a ceiling fan. The police suspected that Zameer was mentally disturbed. According to the police, neighbours found him crying beside his mother’s body. Meanwhile in Naseerabad, couple was robbed at gunpoint in the jurisdiction of the Naseerabad Police Station on Wednesday. Ghulam Latif lodged a complaint with the local police that two armed motorcyclists intercepted him and his wife at a local market on Misrial Road and snatched his wallet containing cash, cards and his mobile phone and jewellery from his wife. The police registered separate cases and began investigations.
