Intense cold has gripped Shangla district once again following torrential downpours and light snowfall in the upper mountainous areas, severely disrupting daily life and infrastructure.
After a two-day respite, heavy rainfall resumed across the district on Sunday, accompanied by light snow on higher peaks. The fresh spell of wintry weather has brought biting icy winds, markedly intensifying the chill across the region. The rains triggered minor landslides in several hilly areas, causing localized disruptions to roads and pathways.
