Mumbai attacks case: Pak commission examines witnesses
The commission urged a Mumbai court to allow inspection of the dinghy and other articles used by the perpetrators.
MUMBAI/NEW DELHI:
The deposition of four Indian witnesses in the 26/11 terror attack case before an eight-member Pakistani judicial commission began amid tight security arrangements in Mumbai on Tuesday. The commission came to the magistrate court to cross-examine witnesses of the Mumbai attack, and urged a Mumbai court to allow inspection of the dinghy and other articles used by the perpetrators. This is the commission’s second visit to India. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate asked the centre to produce the dinghy, its Yamaha engine, cell phones and GPS before the panel on Wednesday. At one stage, the court expressed its annoyance at why the commission had not informed in advance about its plans to examine the articles used by the 10 LeT terrorists.
