ISLAMABAD:
The Secretariat police arrested three suspects for allegedly running a bogus not-for-profit organisation on Saturday.
The officials seized amongst other things, two vehicles bearing fake registration numbers, government number plates, letter pads, important documents, multiple forms and stamps.
The bust came after the police received information about the organisation that was being run under the name of International Peace Council for Interfaith Harmony.
Rana Tahir, Rana Waseem, and Rana Iftikhar were taken into custody by a team led by ASP Irum Abbasi.
The police have registered a case and initiated further investigation that might lead to more arrests in future.
