Way out: Policeman commits suicide

A head constable committed suicide on Sunday.

Jhang Bazaar police said he had had some liver problem. They said he had sought treatment from various doctors but his condition had not improved.


The deceased’s wife told newsmen that he was a heroin addict. She said he had liver problems for 10 years. Towards the end, she said, he was too ill to move around. She said on Sunday, he had asked for his uniform and his gun. When these were presented to him, he shot himself.
