Fashion Police: Animal print done wrong

Opting for animal print and then deciding to cover yourself up with it can be a risky option.

Opting for animal print and then deciding to cover yourself up with it can be a risky option, especially if you can’t pull it off.

British actor Rita Ora shocked us in this head-to-toe red cheetah print sweatsuit, which she was spotted wearing recently. Animal prints can be uber-sexy but poor Rita has got it all wrong:

The charge sheet

Hair and Make-up

Despite the fact that Rita’s on our fashion police radar, we actually like her make-up and the way she has worn her hair. The messy blonde locks, radiant skin and those scarlet lips are not bad at all. However, we can’t stop hating that ice blue nail polish she’s got on — totally off!

Outfit

Opting for animal print and then deciding to cover yourself up with it can be a risky option, especially if you can’t pull it off. Picked up from from Mahiki Coconut’s men’s collection, this loosely-fitted sweatshirt with narrow pants look unbecoming on Rita. A plain black crop top would have looked better with these pants. Verdict: posing away in that cute way may not always save you from being axed by fashion critics!

Accessories and Shoes

Why did you choose those embellished platform heels to go along with your outfit? No comments on that lone silver link bracelet.

Jessica Alba

Jessica looks stunning in this animal print tank top. It is casual and hip and easy on our eyes.

Rihanna

Rihanna looks smoking hot in this all animal print outfit — red cheetah print mini skirt and original cheetah print top. We hope you are taking points, Rita!

Eva Mendes

My, oh my! Eva looks great in this off-shoulder cheetah print gown. That metallic silver belt cinched on the waist looks uber sexy!
