‘Inside Job’: Movie-style bank robbery

Police stated that suspects used an electricity cutter to cut a 6-inch thick metal piece of the heavy safe.

LAHORE: Two security guards, hired from a private contractor, stole Rs3.1 million from a bank. After the employees had left, the two guards left on duty broke the false ceiling of the washroom adjacent to the strong room using large hammers. According to initial police investigations, the suspects used an electricity cutter to cut a 6-inch thick metal piece of the heavy safe. Based on conflicting statements of the police and the airport security spokesperson, the CCTV camera were either non-functional or haven’t captured the guard escaping with the money.
