Heinous crime: Teenage boy allegedly raped by three armed men
The student was on his way to Lahore, where he studies at a seminary.
HARIPUR:
A teenage boy was allegedly raped by three men in Kot Najibullah union council, police said on Wednesday.
Hafiz Obaid*, 16, a resident of Phalkot village, Abbottabad, told Kot Najibullah police he was whisked away by three armed men on his way to Lahore on Tuesday.
Obaid, who is a student at a seminary in Lahore, said the bus had stopped in Haripur where he got off to use the washroom, but the men forced him into a van at gunpoint.
The accused, who were later identified as Mudassar, Arif and Nisar, allegedly took Obaid to Chamba Pind village where they reportedly raped him all night after locking him in a room.
The victim stated he managed to escape the following morning and reported the incident at a police station. The police took him to the Women and Children Hospital in Haripur, where medical reports confirmed Obaid had been raped.
A case has been registered against the accused, who remain at large.
