Pakistan’s Ushna Suhail went down in the singles semi-final of the ITF Junior World Ranking second Zain Bahrain Open.
Second-seeded Ushna was overpowered by fourth-seed Spurti Shivalingaiah 6-0, 6-3, as the Indian dominated the match with her powerful backhand shots.
Earlier, Ushna and Spurti lost in the doubles final to Australia’s Skye Hopper and Turkey’s Ipek Soylu 6-4, 6-1.
Meanwhile, Samir iftikhar, crushed Iran’s Amirvala Madanchi 6-1, 6-0 in the semi-final of the boys event.
