KARACHI: Traffic Police AIG Ghulam Qadir Thebo issued order to restart the drive against tinted glasses, fancy licence plates and the use of revolving lights. According to a police statement on Tuesday, Thebo said the facility of e-driving licences can be utilised to check the documents of the vehicles and driving licences. All buses should stop at their specific stops, no one should be allowed to travel on the roof and men should not be allowed to travel in the ladies’ compartment, he said, prohibiting the use of pressure horns in public buses. Fitness certificates of the vehicles, as well as, the route permits of public transport should also be checked, he added.
