Police arrest three thieves in one day
Sanjarpur residents says that there has been many burglaries and kidnappings in the area recently.

Kot Sabzal police said on Monday that they had arrested a thief who had broken into two shops late on Sunday. Two robbers who had tried to snatch a motorcycle on Sunday were also arrested.
Two shops in Sanjarpur were broken into late on Sunday. The burglar(s) had broken through the roofs of the shops and stolen merchandise and cash. Police said they had managed to trace the robbery to Muhammad Shahid, a resident of the area. They said they had recovered the stolen items and cash from him.
Muhammad Husain, a resident of Fazilpur Fort, Sanjarpur, was on his way home from work on his motorcycle at around 8pm on Sunday when three robbers, who had been hiding in a sugarcane field, tried to stop him and take away his motorcycle.
Hussain managed to escape unhurt. The robbers shot at him, but he reached a nearby colony and told his friend Chaudhry Abdul Nasir about the incident. Nasir then informed the police. A police patrol rushed to the sugarcane field and caught two of the robbers. One of their accomplices managed to flee on a motorcycle.
