Mystery murder: Police yet to identify recovered body

The police have not succeeded in identifying a body they had recovered from the Tarnol area on Saturday night. The police had found the body, which is believed to be 10 days old, near Benazir Chowk.
Visible inspection of the body had revealed multiple injuries and bullet wounds, a police officer said. The police had sent the body for post-mortem to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.
However, on Sunday, officers at the Tarnol Police Station kept mum about the body. Officials did not confirm whether it had been identified.
