The Charge sheet
Hair and Make-up
It is often said that long, flowy hair is a perfect accessory to a good-looking sari and in this case, we totally agree! This extra-tight, dramatic up-do seems like something we would see in Star Trek! Unfortunately for her, her matching heavy make-up has made things worse. Her face looks oily, cakey and excessively shimmery, and that pink lip shade is downright tacky. Considering her overpowering outfit, it would have been best if she had gone with subtle, bronze-ish make-up with a neutral lip shade.
Outfit
This golden Sabyasachi sari with a matching blouse is stunning, but the high neckline is really not flattering Raveena’s figure. We are in love with the stunning gold specks and mukesh on the ensemble, and wonder how lovely it would’ve looked on someone with a narrower frame.
Accessories and Shoes
We are curious as to what the reason was behind her fascination with gold this evening, but we are glad that her golden clutch had some hints of greens and blues. Thankfully she did not wear heavy, dangling earrings but then again, with so much going on, even with no accessories she would have looked a little too blingy. Her shoes aren’t visible but considering her overall look, we won’t be surprised if those were golden in colour too! Sigh!
Bail out!
Aishwarya Rai
Former Miss World looked simply ravishing at the Amfar gala in a golden sari and a matching high-neck blouse. Even Aish decided to go with a high updo but she was smart enough to keep her make-up subtle and appealing. Here are some points to consider, Raveena!
Deepika Padukone
The actor dazzled in a Rohit Bal white and gold sari while promoting her blockbuster movie, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. She cleverly balances out the level of gold with a neutral blouse. Her updo and accessories are traditional and her make-up is bang on!
Anushka Sharma
The gorgeous Anushka wowed the audience in a sexy net sari at the IIFAs. Pairing it with a sleeveless black blouse and loose, wavy locks, she looks uber sexy. Her kundan polka accessories and smoky brown eye make-up, are to die for!

Deepika isn't promoting yeh jawani hai dewani - shes on the cannes red carpet
"how lovely it would’ve looked on someone with a narrower frame" are you kidding me? Is body shaming what counts as 'fashion critique' these days? The lady in question might not have the best style aesthetic but her body is hardly at fault here
