DSP Mumtaz Shah was shot dead in the Malir area of Karachi when unidentified men opened fire on his car, Express News reported.
According to reports, he was on his way to the office when two unidentified men on motorcycles started firing on his car.
The DSP was shot three times in the head and chest before he died on the spot. The attackers reportedly used 9mm weapons.
His body has been moved to the Police station.
