65th death anniversary: Zardari pays tribute to Quaid-e-Azam

Zardari was impressed with the up-keep of the mazar and commended the management and staff for their devotion.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari, Sindh governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah visited the mausoleum of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohamamd Ali Jinnah, on Wednesday on his 65th death anniversary. Zardari’s spokesperson Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the former president, along with the governor and chief minister laid wreath on the mazar and offered Fateha after which they signed on the visitor’s book. They also paid tribute to the services, sacrifices and long-standing struggle that he rendered for the Muslims of the subcontinent. “It has always been a great privilege to visit the mazar of the Quaid,” said Zardari. “On this occasion I call upon the people to adhere to the values and principles for which Pakistan was created.” Zardari was impressed with the up-keep of the mazar and commended the management and staff for their devotion and dedication.
