LNG Project: Suggested actions contradict law, claims TIP
It had been reported that the SSGCL had rejected a bid made by 4Gas Asia for the 500 million cubic feet LNG project.

Transparency International Pakistan (TIP) has referred to reports regarding SSGC board’s decision to reconsider the LNG Retrofit Project, to claim that such an action is in direct violation of procurement rules. It had been reported that the SSGCL had rejected a bid made by 4Gas Asia for the 500 million cubic feet LNG project, bidding period for which was to have ended by August 20. TIP has highlighted that reviving discharged bids will violate the above mentioned ordinances.
