Missing Persons: FC IG to meet local police chief
Representatives of interior and defence ministries and security agencies agreed to expedite efforts on the matter.
ISLAMABAD:
Balochistan Frontier Constabulary Inspector General Maj Ijaz Shahid will hold a meeting with local police chief on Thursday for recovery of missing persons in the province after the interior minister’s directions. The orders came through Interior Secretary Qamar Zaman who held a high-level meeting with provincial chiefs of civilian forces in Islamabad, according to an official statement. It was also emphasised that coordinated efforts by all stakeholders would help to resolve the issue. The statement mentioned that representatives of interior and defence ministries, and security agencies agreed to expedite efforts on the matter.
