Education: ‘No school to lack necessary facilities’

Alif Ailan is assisting the Punjab government in its school enrolment drive, says Asif Mughal.

JHANG:
“We are committed to providing missing facilities at every school in the district,” District Coordination Officer Maqbool Ahmed Dhawla said on Monday. He was addressing a seminar organised at the Government Girls College, Jhang, by Alif Ailan, a non government organisation. Social activists and educationists speaking at the seminar stressed the need for creating awareness among parents about sending their children to school. They said parents needed to realise that the right place for children, between against four years and nine years, was schools. The DCO said that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, too, was committed to the cause that all children must be enrolled at schools and that the enrolment target must be met before the year ended. Alif Ailan district coordinator Asif Mughal said that the organisation was assisting the Punjab government in its school enrolment drive.
