Trade: Pakistan, Denmark ties grow stronger
The commercial section will be set up for a one-year trial period initially, according to the ambassador.

The Danish embassy has decided to set up a commercial section in Pakistan in order to assist Danish companies in the Pakistani market. The ambassador of Denmark, Jesper Moller Sorenson, believes Denmark could provide Pakistan with more business opportunities and offer advanced and high-tech solutions. Danish companies will focus on various fields including renewable efficient energy, health care and food production. The embassy will also be responsible for bringing in more Danish companies to Pakistan which would enhance partnership between the two countries. The Danish ambassador acknowledged Pakistan’s vast potential with its large population, low labour cost, rising middle class and young population. “The goal is to increase Danish exports by 40% over the next three years” he said.
