In cold blood: Two brothers shot dead

SHEIKHUPURA:

Two brothers were shot dead on Sunday by unidentified assailants in Ambar Kot in Khanqah Dogran police’s area.

Police said Abubakar and his brother, Shehzad Ghani Rehmani, were going visiting some fields when three men in police uniforms opened fire at them. Both died on the spot. The assailants fled the scene, police said. The families of the deceased later protested against the murder by blocking the Lahore-Sargodha Road. The protest ended when DPO Hamayun Bashir Tarar said that the accused would be arrested soon.
