Nelson Mandela’s policy of reconciliation for tribal areas: Imran Khan
PTI Chairman says he wishes to start a dialogue to end terrorism and take Pakistan out of the “US” War on Terror.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will present its four points in the All Parties Conference (APC) conveyed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to put the country on the right path, said PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday.
Imran was addressing the Insaf Labor Convention at Awain-e-Iqbal in Lahore.
He said that he wanted to start a dialogue to end terrorism and take Pakistan out of the “US” War on Terror.
He added that he would suggest that we “adopt a policy of reconciliation in the tribal areas (based) on the pattern of Nelson Mandela’s policy.”
Imran will also propose military operation against those who don’t negotiate “but once again call an APC before launching the military operation.”
“I requested a small meeting with interior minister, chief of army staff and prime minister behind closed doors before the APC because Khyber-Pakhunkhwa is the province most affected by terrorism. I want to know what the government policy on drone strikes is,” he added.
“We will try to stand united against terrorism because without getting rid of this menace Pakistan cannot progress,” he added.
Addressing the convention Imran said that PTI was taking practical steps for the welfare of labourers and an Accountability Bill was being drafted in KPK. He said big fish involved in corruption would be nabbed under the Accountability Law in K-P.
“A football manufacturing factory in Sialkot became world famous for its product just because the owner did one thing. He took good care of his labourers. Pakistan will get blessings if the labourers are taken care of, but here, they are kept like slaves,” he added.
Imran added, “When I met Mahathir Mohammad I questioned him about privatisation. He said the privatisation which benefits the country is good but the one which benefits a group of people is harmful. This is what has been happening in Pakistan. The poor keep getting poorer and the rich even richer.”
The PTI chairman said that laborers couldn’t get their rights until they take to the roads. “We don’t have supremacy of law here. You (labourers) will not be heard if you don’t speak up for your rights. We have the law of the jungle here,” he said.
Imran said he feared conditions would worsen for labourers in days to come as 70% of the parliamentarians in Pakistan didn’t pay taxes.
“Our government gave the rich the chance to take their black money out and then bring it back through banks and make it white money. Tax collection in this country is one of the poorest in the world. We have to do two things for development: end corruption and US war on terrorism,” he maintained.
