FAISALABAD:

An online complaint management system has been launched to expedite the process of complaint registration against district government departments and officers, Information Technology experts told District Coordination Officer Najam Ahmad Shah in a meeting on Saturday.

The DCO was told that the complaint centres will be linked via satellite. Citizens will have round-the-clock access to progress reports on their complaints and the status of development projects.

Najam Ahmad Shah  was told that the new system aimed to provide easy access to information regarding the work of several govt departments. People will be provided a platform to lodge complaints against officials. These complaints would be redressed on priority.

The district cordination officer  said he hoped the new system would encourage government functionaries to shape up and provide people relief.
