Dangerous wires: Youth electrocuted

A youth died from an electric shock in Gujranwala on Thursday. Omar Saleem, 20, a resident of Mohalla Nurpoora, got the shock when he accidentally touched a naked wire. Some relatives of the deceased protested against the Gujranwala Electric Supply Company (GEPCO). The protestors blocked the Grand Trunk Road and said they had requested the authorities several times to remove the unsafe wires in the vicinity but were ignored.
