Caught red-handed: Couple arrested for abducting child
Couple was beaten up and handed over to Chunni Goth police.
BAHAWALPUR:
A man and his wife were arrested on Thursday after they were caught trying to kidnap a girl in Uch Sharif.
Maqbool and his wife, Munsib Mai, were caught by neighbours when they were trying to flee after abducting the two-year-old daughter of Muhammad Shahid, a resident of Mehmood Haatim, from his house.
They were beaten up and handed over to Chunni Goth police.
