Convicted: Murderer gets death sentence

According to the prosecution, Asghar Ali had strangled his wife in 2012 over a domestic dispute.

KASUR: Additional District and Sessions Judge Khizer Hayat Gondal on Saturday handed the death penalty and Rs100,000 fine to the man found guilty of killing his wife. According to the prosecution, Asghar Ali had strangled his wife, Farzana Bibi, in 2012 over a domestic dispute. The court exonerated two suspects in the case, Irfan and Zuhran Bibi, giving them the benefit of doubt.
