Welfare: 'Women learning about their rights'
Minister for Women's Development Hamida Waheeduddin said on Friday that awareness sessions were being organised.

Minister for Women's Development Hamida Waheeduddin said on Friday that awareness sessions were being organised in various districts to educate women about their rights. She was talking to Japanese Charge d’ Affairs Akira Kone and Third Secretary Tomoko Koide. Waheeduddin informed them about the problems faced by Pakistani women and the steps being taken by the government for their welfare. She said the awareness sessions would enable women to contribute to the society. Kono praised the steps being taken by the government. He also appreciated the government’s cooperation in socio-economic and energy sectors.
