SMEs: FPCCI urges relief package for traders

FPCCI chief says both FBR and PFCCI will send their report to federal finance minister for final decision.

ISLAMABAD:
Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Friday demanded an immediate relief package for traders to bail them out from existing crisis in the wake of load shedding. FPCCI Chief Zubair Ahmad Malik said that a 5-member high level committee of PFCCI held meeting with FBR to work out a viable strategy to address the genuine grievances confronted by the business community and corporate sector which are the main source of tax collection and revenue generation. He added that both FBR and PFCCI would send their report to federal finance minister for final decision. Vice President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iftikhar Ali Malik said that Federal Finance minister had assured to address the problems of the business community.
