Rangers Encounter: Two abductees rescued
The two abducted were fishery employees and were kidnapped when they were going back to their homes after work.

Two people were released from the captivity of the kidnappers shortly after their kidnapping in near Cheel Chowk, Lyari on Wednesday. Five gangsters abducted Shabbir and Hassan, residents of New Karachi. The two abducted were fishery employees and were kidnapped when they were going back to their homes after work. According to a Rangers spokesperson, Rangers troops responded immediately and arrested a gangster while the abducted people were successfully released. On the other hand, Rangers sources said that one hand grenade and two pistols were also found from the suspect, who was later identified as Shahid alias Farangi.
