Aug 22 blast: Two more army officials succumb to injuries
The funeral prayers for (Naik) Amjad and (Naib Soobedar) Mashkoor were held in Malir Cantonment.

The August 22 explosion outside the Rangers Headquarters in Korangi number 5, which killed two people and injured nine, claimed the lives of two more army officials on Wednesday night.
The two soldiers Naik Amjad and Naib Soobedar Mashkoor had been injured in the attack and succumbed to their injuries.
Their funeral prayers were held in Malir Cantonment, and were attended by the Corps Commander.
The total number of army officials killed in the blast has now risen to three.
On August 22, Army and Rangers officials were returning to the head quarters after performing duties assigned as part of deployment for by-elections in NA-254 constituency when their truck came under attack from a planted explosive device.
Army and Rangers personnel along with civilians were among those injured in that attack. Officials had also defused a second explosive device planted a some distance to the explosion.
