Pak-China think tank: NUST invited to take part in meeting

The first annual meeting of the China-Pakistan Think Tank will be held in Beijing from August 31 to September 1.

China-Pakistan economic corridor for energy, trade, transport, and industrial development, regional geopolitics, foreign policy challenges, and other issues will be discussed.



The first annual meeting of the China-Pakistan Think Tank will be held in Beijing from August 31 to September 1. The meeting will be jointly hosted by China’s Tsinghua University Centre for Pakistan Culture and Communication Studies, China-Pakistan Joint Think Tank, the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and the Academy of China and World Agendas, Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL), Chongqing, said a press release issued by NUST on Wednesday.


“The think tank is a trilateral knowledge partnership between the three universities to provide knowledge-based policy input for the mutual national socioeconomic development of China and Pakistan and regional peace and prosperity.”

China-Pakistan economic corridor for energy, trade, transport, and industrial development, equity-based economic growth, regional geopolitics, foreign policy challenges, scientific and technological cooperation, higher education, cultural cooperation, other issues will be discussed in the forum.
