QUETTA: Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary has asked the Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) and secret agencies to recover the missing persons by tomorrow, Express News reported on Monday.
He also said that missing persons in Frontier Corps custody be presented before the court as well.
The IG FC claimed that the cases pertaining to missing persons are complicated. In response, the chief justice stated that not all cases are complicated except a few.
The chief justice also ordered a written explanation from IG FC about recovering the missing persons and stated that FC has complete control in Balochistan.
He instructed the police to identify measures and methodologies that can possibly be used to recover the missing persons.
The case was heard at the Quetta Registry of the Supreme Court.
Earlier, the chief justice was not satisfied with the investigation report submitted in relation to the missing persons.
Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed were the two other judges, apart from the chief justice, who were a part of the bench hearing the Balochistan law and order case, the petition for which was filed by the Balochistan High Court Bar Association’s president three years ago.
