By-elections 2013: PML-N leads the pack

The PML-N won 11 provincial assembly seats and five National Assembly seats.

PML-N's Abdul Mannan celebrates with supporters after winning the NA-83 seat in Faisalabad in the by-elections of August 22.

Voting for 41 constituencies of national and provincial assemblies saw the PML-N emerge overall victors by Thursday night.

More than 500 candidates holding tickets of different political parties as well as independents ran for 15 National Assembly and 26 provincial assembly seats.

The PML-N won 11 provincial assembly seats and five National Assembly seats, according to unofficial results.
