Mysterious death: Under-trial prisoner dies at BBH

An under-trial prisoner at Adiala Jail died after being brought to Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) on Wednesday. Ghulam Muhammad, 55, was nabbed by the Gujar Khan police a few years ago in connection with a murder case.
According to sources, the prisoner was brought to BBH from Adiala Jail in critical condition on Tuesday night. It could not be confirmed whether the prisoner was sick or subjected to torture.
Waris Khan SHO Muhammad Yusaf confirmed the prisoner’s death but did not give the cause.
