Relief Work: Punjab sends goods to Chitral

Relief goods include blankets, tents, ration packets and medicines.

LAHORE:
The Punjab government has sent a consignment comprising 23 trucks of relief items to the flood affectees of Chitral.

Talking to reporters on the occasion on Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the government was committed to the people in this hour of trial. Relief goods include blankets, tents, ration packets and medicines.


He said that the Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa government has also been offered all-out cooperation, adding that he himself was supervising rehabilitation work.
