Strategic Dialogue: Nisar, Olson for resumption of talks
The minister shared the interior ministry’s efforts to counter militancy and terrorism in Pakistan.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali said on Monday that his government aimed to resume early strategic dialogue between Pakistan and the US, after meeting with US Ambassador, Richard Olson. “I would take all the possible steps for early resumption of the Strategic Dialogue as it was in the interest of both countries,” said Nisar in his statement.
The minister shared the interior ministry’s efforts to counter militancy and terrorism in Pakistan.
The basic features of forthcoming national security policy and counter terrorism strategy also came under discussion.
