Hospital Update: Sikandar took heavy doses of muscle relaxants, cannabis

Laboratory tests on Monday confirmed that Muhammad Sikandar had been consuming or smoking cannabis through the five-hour long Jinnah Avenue stand-off.
Dr Waseem Khawaja, the spokesman for Pims, said that according to laboratory tests, Sikandar was also a heavy consumer of Lexotanil, the active ingredients of which includes bromazepam, a drug used for anxiety disorders.
Although he denied it earlier, Sikandar has now acknowledged that he regularly used illicit drugs, said the doctor, while further adding, “He is stable and has started taking fluids and semi-liquid food.”
According to Khawaja, his X-ray report shows that despite having multiple fractures, he does not require surgery on his wounded leg. On the other hand, the team assessing his mental health believes that Sikandar has a personality disorder.
