Heinous crime: LHC takes notice of acid attack case
The LHC has directed the Chinoit district and sessions judge to probe the incident and submit a detailed report.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday took notice of an acid attack in Chinoit. The LHC complaint cell had taken notice of a report that said Muhammad Afzal was attacked by his father and brother, Sher Muhammad and Muhammad Ashraf over gold and sacks of wheat. Afzal’s wife and mother had informed the police. He was taken to the district headquarters hospital where doctors said that he had 60 per cent burns. The LHC has directed the Chinoit district and sessions judge to probe the incident and submit a detailed report.
