Bilateral ties: Talks soon between Germany, Pakistan

LAHORE: German Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Cyrill Nunn said on Monday that strategic dialogue at the level of foreign secretaries will be held in the last quarter of 2013 in Islamabad to further strengthen bilateral ties, especially in trade. He was addressing a ceremony here after launching the Lahore Office of Pakistan-German Business Forum. The German ambassador said the second round of the strategic dialogue will focus on bilateral economic issues. He said both Germany and Pakistan are planning to undertake further efforts to foster mutual business relations. The ambassador said “Pakistan Business Days” trade forum will take place in Berlin and Munich from October 30 to November 01 this year, focusing on energy, textiles and mechanical engineering, he added. “Both Germany and Pakistan will largely benefit from stronger business ties and the launch of the Lahore office is an important step for the PGBF and for the business communities in both countries.” Said Nunn.
