Punjab Assembly condemns attack on Express Media, passes resolution
The resolution was moved by a PTI member, Mian Aslam Iqbal.

The Punjab Assembly on Monday passed a resolution condemning the attack on Express Media offices, Express News reported.
Speaker Punjab Assembly, Rana Iqbal read out the resolution in the Assembly and all the members unanimously approved it.
Condemning the attack, he said that protection be provided to journalists and the perpetrators of the attack be arrested.
The resolution was moved by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member, Mian Aslam Iqbal.
A group of journalists had earlier boycotted the session, upon which a four-member committee was formed to assure them of support from Punjab Assembly.
The Sindh Assembly also passed a resolution condemning the attack earlier on Monday. The resolution was moved by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Two employees, a woman and a guard were injured when four unknown armed persons on motorcycles opened fire at the Express Media office on August 16.
