Car slips into nullah: Two women killed, four injured

ISLAMABAD:
Two women were killed and four others injured when a car slipped into the Korang Nullah near Bani Gala on Sunday evening.
A Suzuki Bolan carrying a family of six accidentally fell into the nullah, a Rescue 1122 official said. The rescue official said that by the time they reached the spot, relatives of the victims had removed the car and the dead and the injured had been shifted to the Polyclinic hospital.
Hospital authorities confirmed that both the women were middle-aged and had died before they were brought to the hospital. The identity of the deceased could not be confirmed.
In another accident on Saturday, Abdur Rehman was hit and killed in the Malpur area by a motorcyclist while he was crossing the road. The Nilore police registered a case against the motorcyclist, Jahanzaib, for rash driving and further investigation is underway.
