Enrolment in schools: All resources being utilised
A door-to-door campaign should be launched to create awareness about the importance of education, said DCO.

The provincial government is utilising all available resources to ensure 100 per cent enrolment of children in schools to enhance literacy rate in the district. This was said by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Muhammad Iqbal while addressing a function held here at the Jinnah Hall in connection with the “emergency enrolment campaign” launched by the Punjab government. Executive district officer (EDO) education, deputy DEOs, heads of schools, teachers and a large number of students were present on the occasion. The DCO said that a door-to-door campaign should be launched in the district to create awareness among people about the importance of education and to motivate parents to send their children to schools. Later, the officials and the students held a walk.
