Floods: Families of victims to be compensated
The provincial govt on Saturday announced to give Rs500,000 each to the families of the those killed in the floods

The provincial government on Saturday announced to give Rs500,000 each to the families of the those killed in the floods. The government issued letters to the District coordination officers of 36 districts, directing them to make a record of people drowned in floodwater. The Gujranwala DCO Tariq Javed Malik assigned ADC Saleha Saeed, DOC Pervez Iqbal Butt and the Focal Person Hafiz Muhammad Najeeb to collect data of the persons killed. Najeeb said two persons drowned in the flood-water in Wazirabad and Kamonki areas.
