A loud explosion was heard on Saturday night in Mir Mohammad Goth near Sohrab Goth in Karachi, creating terror and panic among residents of the area, reported Express News.
The nature and cause of the explosion were still under investigation.
Express News correspondent Nadeem Khan said that according to Deputy Inspector General (East) Tahir Naveed, the blast had taken place in some bushes in an unoccupied plot of land.
The DIG confirmed that the incident had not caused any loss to life or property. However, further investigations into the blast were underway.
