Umar Akmal out of Zimbabwe tour after epileptic seizure
Specialists have asked the cricketer to take time to recover, to be replaced by Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Pakistan Cricket Board has replaced Umar Akmal with Sarfaraz Ahmed in the squad for Zimbabwe after the batsman reportedly suffered from seizures of epilepsy during the ongoing Caribbean Premier League in West Indies.
Akmal was part of the Barbados Tridents team in the Twenty20 league of West Indies.
He was on a flight to Jamaica when he fainted from a seizure.
The league's hectic schedule, with consecutive day-and-night matches held one after the other, may have exacerbated his condition

PCB officials immediately recalled the cricketer, naming wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed as a replacement for the upcoming One-day Internationals (ODIs) and T-20 matches against Zimbabwe.
Pakistan began their five-day training camp on August 12, for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe looking to continue the winning momentum that started with their limited series triumph in the Caribbean.
They will play two Tests, as many Twenty20s and three One-Day Internationals (ODI) as part of the tour that will start later this month.
Pakistan opener Imran Farhat withdrew from the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe on Tuesday citing ‘domestic issues’ as a reason.
