Literacy: LCWU to have a model primary school

“The university has dedicated space on the campus for a primary school,” says VC.

LAHORE:
Lahore College for Women University Vice Chancellor Sa biha Mansoor on Wednesday said a model primary school would be started at the university. Mansoor said the school was a part of the enrollment emergency campaign announced by the chief minister. She said, “The university has dedicated space on the campus for a primary school.” A key feature of the model primary school was access to education for underprivileged children living at or near the LCWU campus. She said Punjabi, Urdu and English would be taught at the school. “Another feature of this school is the provision of nutrition and health facilities to marginalised students,” she said. So far the secondary school has only been planned for girls.
