Missing persons case: SHC issues notice to interior ministry
Interior ministry to submit a report on the whereabouts of a supporter of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz.
KARACHI:
The Supreme Court issued notice to the interior ministry to submit a report on the whereabouts of a supporter of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz who has allegedly been missing since March 2011, on Wednesday.
The two-member bench was hearing a plea of Qabil Khoso against the illegal detention of his brother, Sohbat Khoso. Qabil submitted that his brother, along with a leader of JSQM, Ikhtiar Chandio, and one other person, was picked up by personnel of law-enforcement agencies on March 17, 2011 from Ranipur.
