Policy: Industry a priority for government, says minister
The minister said the national security policy would be announced soon to control terrorism.

Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has said the government will address problems of the industry as a priority.
Addressing an Eid reception of the Sheikhupura Chamber of Commerce here on Monday, he said that the PML-N government was working hard to resolve electricity, gas and other problems of the industry.
He said the drain along the Lahore-Sheikhpura road at a cost of Rs110 million had become functional. The minister said the national security policy would be announced soon to control terrorism.
He said the Gwadar dry port was being upgraded speedily to facilitate imports and exports which would help strengthen the national economy besides gearing up the wheel of the industry.
The minister said the government was also paying special attention to increase defence production to meet challenges and requirements of the present age.
