Tragic death: Opposition leader bereaved

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and others also visited Rasheed at home.

LAHORE: Politicians from all sides condoled with Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed over the Eid holidays after the death of his son Hafiz Hussain, 20, due to a brain haemorrhage.

Hussain passed away on the day after Eid and was laid to rest the same day. On Sunday, the inconsolable Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader was visited by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Mushahid Hussain and Mian Munir of the PML-Q. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and his son Moonis Elahi, also of the PML-Q, offered their condolences from London. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and others also visited Rasheed at home.
